About Satori
Satori is a Zen Buddhism term that means comprehension or seeing the true nature of something. We chose this name to represent our vision of utilizing technology to enhance our ability to understand risk. While technology is engrained in every element of our business, our goal is to strengthen the human connection that you have with your clients.
We believe that technology should be used to free up time and allow people to do what people do best – identify new risks and build strong relationships with your trading partners. Too often these days we see technology being used to supplant people rather than enhance people. We seek to change that.

Our People
Kenny C. Li, CFA | CEO & Founder
Kenny has over 21 years of experience in management and professional liability insurance in the financial institutions segment. He has launched two currently active insurance products in the marketplace with The Hartford and Ascot Group, respectively. Prior to founding Satori, he was head of financial institutions at Ascot Insurance US. He is a CFA charterholder and holds a Bachelor degree and Master degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Henry Pan | COO & Co-Founder
Henry has over 13 years of experience in underwriting management and professional liability insurance focused primarily on financial institutions and assets managers. He has developed a strong underwriting acumen in the space having worked at several major carriers. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, in Finance & Investment from the City University of New York, Baruch College.
